I've had this bust of a woman in the shop for a while and frankly grew quite tired of her lack of personality. So with boxes of shells in abundance at my home I decided she was going to become a siren of the sea, or at least Thornville. Above is the before and below are the afters. What projects are you working on?
Hello Love what you did to your bust...ok that sounded personal :) I have to tell you I have an old store display that I found at the flea market years ago that looks a lot like your lady. She is made of plaster and someone dressed her head with silver strands and seashells. If you care to see her I can send you a pic or put one up on my blog. I am new to blogging but I've had a shop in the Chicago area for years. I enjoyed reading your posts. Take Care Rebecca rebeccaforvintageliving.blogspot.com
Well, i'd say, you add to the price of her and also her chances of selling. Bravo, and very beautiful!! I love anything shells but, i also live in IOWA. I made two different ladies with shells. they are on my blog. Your shop looks heavenly.
I have no words. Just fabulous!
