Sometimes, yes for obvious space reasons. However, there are also
times where you should break the “scale” rules and go extra big in a
small room. Like this 7 foot tall primitive cupboard turned
entertainment center in our 14 x 12 living room. It actually makes the
room appear and feel larger. Don’t be afraid of those big
pieces!
