Some changes, finds, a give-away & more!

First, a change, I share with you the sad news that Janet is no longer working or selling her finds in my store. She has wanted to scale back for a little while now so that she could spend more time with her wonderful family. We will all miss her sweet personality and multitudes of well wishes are sent her way from me and no doubt all of you!!

Between Capital Style magazine readers, The Beacon readers and all my regulars the store has just been a buzz with amazing energy this week. Kristy Eckert from Capital Style magazine visited to check out items for her Daily Crave feature. She chose the wonderful leather and flower rings that arrived recently. Check out her post here You can purchase them on-line here...only $15!!

The latest Romantic Homes magazine has arrived at the shop and it is fantastic! There are two spreads about Debbie Dusenberry's home and Kansas City shop Curious Sofa. So glad she shared both with RH so that we can visit!
Lastly, I'm coming up on my 100th blog post (this is #98) so to celebrate I decided to have a giveaway! I'm working on the details and will get those out to you ASAP so stay tuned! It promises to be a wonderful prize!!

Southern Living? How did you miss this shop???

I want to share with you this darling shop called "The Sand Dollar" that my mom discovered. Of all the cute shops on Anna Maria this one appealed to me the most. While on vacation I visited it three times for my retail therapy. It's full of beautiful things that will delight all your senses. Jewelry (with prices you won't believe!), clothing, shoes, candles, furniture, soaps, art, and coastal decor that's not overtly beachy. Want to visit today? Her website is under the darling name of myyellowshovel.com. While I missed meeting the owner (caught a glimpse of her mom busily arranging) the staff was very kind and helpful. They even let me snap a few pictures for all of you.
