I sell a lot of antique urns and it's always hard to let them go. There is just something about their shape that I love, even when they are empty. I do have one (finally) at my own home. It is sitting in the middle of my unlandscaped yard, looking lonely, but it is beautiful. Some day it will be a gorgeous focal point, full of glorious plants spilling over the rim. Here are 2 of 5 urns I picked up last week plus some others in the shop. Then a few photos of urns in their "forever homes". Do you have "urn envy" or have you satified th crave? Leave me a comment!
Urn envy here! I know they reproduce urns now that rival the old ones but I still love the old crusty ones the best! It's hard to find them in my part of the world and very expensive when you do.
I have been out of town at a show, so haven't read the blogs. BUT, I have to say you have absolutely fantastic urns...oh,what I could do with them. Thanks for sharing, but you are right I am very envious!! :) marcie
Thank you for stopping by the original urban farmhouse! I've been blessed to be the sole proprietor of urban farmhouse since 2005 and thoroughly enjoy every minute of it.

They are wonderful!
I so wish I could visit your shop, I know I would love everything in it!
Urn envy definitely!! I never find good ones around here. If it wasn't a million dollars to ship - I'd get one from you!! Fabulous pictures!
gorgeous!
I love the ironstone(?) cup and saucer with the blue anchor on the cup. How much are they and how do I go about buying them? Sam
