Leather, zinc & willow

Ahhhh...those three words conjure up some beautiful images. Here are some images of my latest acquisitions.
A summertime favorite here, starfish strands
Vintage buckets overflowing with framed shells on linen
starfish, large polished clam shells and sea urchins (which look great filling our hobnail mercury glass vases)
ATTENTION LOCALS! Our indoor/outdoor Buckeye Lake pillows have been replenished...HURRY if you want one!
had these sent in from Belgium, wonderful, roughed up leather shirt boxes
old miners' hanging baskets and a vintage dough trough from a European bakery, beautil as a planter or filled with ice and beverages at your next gathering
vintage wicker chair
big, oval wash tubs from Holland
two huge vintage life preservers
vintage willow trunks, fabulous texture AND storage!
trio of mini buckets hanging on each other, great for organizing your own creative space
dripping with wired glass crystals, lovely, romantic bulbs covers
My new favorite, a tall stately, galvanized pitcher, would be gorgeous filled with blue hydrangeas or bunches of queen anne's lace. The one line I have carried since way back in the day, Farmhouse lavender products, and I keep adding more of their products for you all to try. They are addictive, hand made in small batches and earth friendly.
a vintage GIANT industrial lightbulb
a great find, vintage wicker settee
an awesome, as found, vintage wicker table in aqua paint
a pile of vintage zinc sap pots from Belgium

What was your best find this weekend?

This is what I found...a 12 x 14 chicken house! I know I know, who let me out unsupervised? But $35??!! A steal right?(Ask me again after I find someone willing to move it, lol.)My daughter and I have grandiose plans of turning it into a clubhouse/hang out for girls that are young and young at heart. A fresh coat of picket fence white paint, open up the front and put in salvaged glass paned doors that slide on old barn tracks, hang a few sparkly chandeliers (it's already wired!), urns with flowers, pea gravel walkway, weather vane up top, sleeping bunks with crisp cotton sheets and chenille throws...the ideas are making my head spin!!
It's bought and paid for but there is the nasty little problem of getting it to our yard...um, oh yeah, have to get it approved by the "developer" of our community too. "Really! We're not going to raise chickens (even though that sounds fun) we just want to play in it!" I've already started printing off pictures to show him our plans and open up his imagination...that is IF I can get it here...stay tuned...
So, tell me, what did you find? Does it make your heart pitter patter? Do tell!
